Delete directly in Snowey
When you can access your account, the in-app deletion option is the quickest method.
Sign in to the account you want to delete.
Go to your profile and open account settings.
Review the warning and choose permanent deletion.
Your account will be scheduled for deletion.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in or the in-app option is unavailable, send an email from the address connected to your Snowey account.
Please include:
- The subject line Delete my Snowey account.
- Your account email address.
- Your Snowey username, if known.
- A clear request to permanently delete the account and associated data.
For account security, we may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before completing the request.
What will be deleted
Deleting your Snowey account permanently removes or anonymizes personal data associated with the account, including where applicable:
- Account identifiers, email address, username and profile information.
- Profile picture, preferences and account settings.
- Ski or snowboard sessions, route and location history, run statistics and personal records.
- Friend connections, group memberships and leaderboard data linked to your identity.
- Messages and other account content, subject to how group conversations are technically stored.
- Device or analytics information that remains directly linked to your account.
Deletion cannot be undone. You will lose access to your history, progress and any account benefits.
Information that may be retained
Limited information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution or enforcement. Backup copies may remain until they are overwritten through normal backup cycles.
Aggregated or irreversibly anonymized information that can no longer identify or be linked to you may also be retained.
Processing time
Deletion requests are normally processed within 7 days after ownership is verified. Complex requests or legally required retention may take longer; if so, we will explain the reason where appropriate.
